REVIEW – El Tesoro Blanco Tequila

NOM 1139 –

BATCH B-009

Crystal clear & shimmering as the light hits the liquid in the glass, El Tesoro Blanco gives off a delightful mix of aromas including cooked agave & cinnamon/sweet spice, minerals, a hint of sweet spiced vanilla, & a vegetal, herbal quality. The tequila coats the glass beautifully.

On the palate, there is cooked agave & sweet spice, a white pepper bite, a hint of sweet spiced vanilla, & a bit of fruitiness at the very end. There is an earthy character to this blanco. Traditionally made and usually available at a mid-range price point, this is a great value pour. Great neat, it would make excellent cocktails, too.

-Tasted using a Glassique Cadeau tequila copita glass & a Riedel tequila flute glass
