I completed this during furlough & the certificate finally arrived.
While elected officials postured, gave themselves 3-day weekends after repeatedly failing at their jobs for 4-day weeks, & one even publicized a birthday for his dog as hundreds of thousands of folks were furloughed & trying to support their families, this helped take my mind temporarily off of ruminating on the utter dysfunctionality.
It’s another mark of coming full circle with whiskies from going on 2 years after decades away from all spirits & all alcohol.
Without single malts & specifically the Virginia Distillery Company, I’d never have strayed away from my Always & Forever – sacred agave spirits.
