Glassware: Integral Tool to Spirits Appreciation

Washed them in shifts – some are for home use, some for the office, & others are reserves for bottle shares. [Denver & Liely; Glencairn & Glencairn Copita; Glassique Cadeau Copita; Riedel Ouverture Tequila Flute]

Glassware is such an essential tool in parsing out aromas & comparing them with the flavors you perceive on the palate – it’s what I find so enjoyable & fun about exploring spirits. Honestly, it’s not the “effect” of spirits that captures my interest, it’s the amazing variation within the same categories of spirits, e.g. between bourbons, scotches, tequilas, etc.

Just like a toolkit, there are better & best glassware for different situations. [Also, I have reduced self-control during big sales of stuff I nerd out about.]

Cheers early on a cold Saturday morning!
