Agave Spirits+ Journey

LEMON-ORANGE MARGARITA for National Margarita Day 2025

• 2 ounces freshly squeezed Lemon Juice

• 1 ounce Cointreau

• 2 ounces of Blanco Tequila (or Reposado, if desired)
• 100% Blue Weber Agave nectar to taste
• 3 dashes Angostura Orange Bitters

• Splash of No Sugar Added Orange Juice or Freshly squeezed Orange Juice

Shake over ice & then pour over ice. Salt rim if/as desired.

The lemon, to me, makes for a more robust Margarita & the orange bitters add some earthiness to the citrus, the cooked agave & vegetal/herbal notes of the blanco, & the earthy sweetness of the agave nectar.
