Virginia ABC is having a huge 3-day sale event, “Spirits Palooza,” 4-6 June with a ton of bottles from across spirits categories on sale, many with deep discounts. ABC is also releasing limited availability/allocated bottles (almost entirely American whiskies) at specific times at all stores but with only a 30-minute advance sign posting at stores listing which specific bottles – this is driving bourbon taters mad (which is hilarious, honestly, because no one forced them to spend hours waiting outside stores).

*Talisker Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch – Highland region scotch bottled at 91.6 proof (45.8% ABV) and aged first in refill American White and European Oak barrels before being finished in heavily re-charred Amoroso sherry seasoned American White Oak barrels.
*Lagavulin Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch – Islay scotch bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV) and aged in American White Oak barrels before being finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry casks.
*Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch – Highland scotch bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV) and aged in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Oloroso Sherry seasoned American White Oak barrels.
*Oban Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch – Highland scotch bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV) aged first in American White Oak and then finished in Montilla Fino Sherry casks.
