Of Blends & Single Barrels: Buffalo Trace Bourbon

Today I picked up a Buffalo Trace Bourbon single barrel for a friend who’s just recently started exploring how single barrels can be quite different from regular blends and who is also a big Buffalo Trace Bourbon fan.

I’ve suggested we new crack his single barrel, a single barrel (unopened) I have, & a new blended version BT at some point to see how the three of them compare to highlight how different barrels can/may be quite different.

It’s all about learning – and also having fun at the same time. That’s what spirits are for – enjoying in moderation.
